Help celebrate exceptional student mentees!
The Adelphi University Mentoring Program was created to help ensure academic success at any phase of a student's undergraduate career. Open to all students, ideally within their freshman year, the program was designed to help students of color, first generation, LGBTQI+, and veteran students who may be the first in their families to attend college. The goal of the program is to help these students fulfill their highest potential through academic, social and professional development with the guidance of a mentor. Staff and faculty volunteer to be mentors and complete the necessary training to be assigned to a student mentee.
To proudly celebrate the success of these incredible students, the Mentoring Program is fundraising for an inaugural Awards Reception honoring two students with an exceptional academic achievement financial award.
Join us with your Heart of Gold gift to reach the $2,000 goal to commend two exceptional mentees with their well-deserved achievement award!
