Support the Hauppauge Center Social Work Student Association
The Hauppauge Education and Conference Center continues the Adelphi University tradition of offering convenient, high quality college education to the community and strengthens Adelphi’s commitment to the future of Long Island.
The Hauppauge Center offers a MS in Nursing Administration and 3 degrees in Social Work: a Bachelors in Social Work, a convenient evening Bachelors in Social Work program and a Masters in Social Work! Our social work programs have provided new generations of social workers with the knowledge, values and skills to make a difference in the lives of others. Making a difference in the lives of others is exactly what our Social Work Student Association is doing!
Your gift today will help offset the costs for 15 of our students to visit the Tenement Museum in NYC! The Tenement Museums helps all individuals understand the history of immigration through the personal experiences of the generations of newcomers who settled in and built lives on Manhattan's Lower East Side and enhances appreciation for the profound role immigration has played and continues to play in shaping America's evolving national identity. Social workers are devoted to helping people and are advocates for social change, this will be an incredible experience for them!
$20 covers one admission ticket into the Museum
$55 pays for transportation to the Museum and back to campus for one student
Thank you for supporting our students!
